The barcode reader is connected to the Ruddweigh scales. Anyone in the shed is able to accurately & quickly record the fleece weight & sheep tag number. A similar reader is used to record the BIN & any comments. Testing for staple length & strength, which has become more important to wool processors.

All Petali stud sheep are sampled on the mid-side within 1 month prior to shearing & these tests are available if required at shearing.
